Our client specialise in matching concessions with forward thinking garden centres. They are continuing to grow and develop their business and have made a significant investment in our people and company in the last few years by improving their office environment, developing new technology and changing the company infrastructure.
Due to the thriving market, they are now recruiting for a Sales and Operations Manager to join the team.
The Role :
Your role will be at their office in Reigate, you will be an integral part of our growing company. You will manage an experienced sales and operations team of 12 staff and encourage sales growth, whilst ensuring the smooth running of the sales and operational processes.
Candidate :
You will be a motivated person who takes responsibility for your own understanding and development. You will have the ability to confidently manage and motivate an experienced team. Ideally the successful candidate will have relevant and necessary experience from working in a similar role, within a small to medium company.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to do the following problem solve, possess resilience, determination and be able to take responsibility for their own understanding and development.
• Proven track record of sales and operations and people management
• Ability to motivate, train and develop staff
• High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressure
• Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately, good level of numeracy and excellent spoken and written English
• Strong customer service, influencing and negotiating skills
• Competent use of office IT products including MS word, MS excel and MS outlook
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
Working hours : Monday - Friday 09.00 to 17.30
Salary and Benefits:
Competitive basic salary of £25000
Bonus, subject to achieving team targets
20 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays.
