Our client is one of the oldest IT solutions providers in the UK. The company was initially formed to provide and support DEC Open VMS solutions to central government and enterprise level corporate clients.
Over the years their team has developed a strong technical and sales base with a wealth of knowledge and experience in many aspects of IT supply, implementation and support. They’ve built a reputation for successfully implementing IT infrastructure and solutions to an impressive list of clients throughout EMEA.
They are currently looking for a Technician to be based in London (EC2A).
The role is split between I.T. support and warehouse work.
• Basic technical tasks including configuring PC's, servers etc
• Providing technical sales support to the sales team when required.
• Updating internal systems and providing ad-hoc support.
• Warehouse duties such as packing/receiving goods as well as shipping goods with third party couriers.
• Dealing with customer and supplier queries regarding shipments.
• The successful candidate must be comfortable lifting up to 25kg.
The requirements :
• I.T. background essential.
• Experience working within warehousing or logistics a benefit.
• Computer skills and MS Office experience.
• Previous experience working within an office environment.
A finance background would be a benefit as there may be credit control and general finance duties that will have to be carried out (Desirable)
Salary is between 14000 – 18000 GBP per annum.
