We are looking for an experienced clinical psychologist or group analyst to work as the clinical director of CHT. The following qualifications and experience are desirable:
Qualifications
Doctoral level or equivalent in psychology, psychoanalytic psychotherapy or group analysis.
Experience
Experience of working in an acute psychiatric or similar setting with patients diagnosed with a range of disorders including psychosis.
Experience of community treatment programmes, ideally one that runs along therapeutic community lines.
Experience of supervising staff and teaching students.
Experience of writing and publishing in academic journals and making presentations at conferences.
Experience of being in psychoanalysis or psychoanalytic psychotherapy over a substantial period.
Reported to Chief Executive
Salary: £45k-55k per annum (depending on training and experience). Benefits include private medical insurance, company car and pension contribution.
