AAA Magazine is starting a bi-weekly gallery shop, as a platform for fresh new artists to show and sell their work.
We are currently looking for new artists to join the collective. Successful applicants will be selling their art from the gallery & Shop space every second Saturday.
As part of the Art Shop Collective you will:
• Be given a wall or floor space allowance (or a mixture of both if you require).
• Have your work shown and for sale twice a month. The 1st & 3rd Saturdays.
• Receive 90% of all of your sales
• Be part of a collective focused on selling and promoting their own work.
• Be on a rota to manage the shop (together with other artists).
• Have space for your artwork to be stored on site (in between shows).
Location:
The studio/gallery is located in Hoxton, right next to the canal. There is a designer & vintage clothes store right next door, and lots of passing trade on a Saturday.
Rota:
Everyone will be on the rota to take a turn managing the space. This will be approximately once every two months. (obviously, the more the merrier and you can come hang out every saturday if you like.).
Fee:
We are running the project as a Non Profit collective so there is just a £25 a month fee, to cover costs, and artists get to keep 90% of sales with 10% going back to advertising, organizing, and running the events.
