The Crawl first came to Camden in the mid-nineties as a one-day event . It died out after a few years but was revived in 2005 and quickly gained notoriety as one of the best new and alternative festivals in the UK. Launching the festival season each Spring, the Gaymers Camden Crawl quickly became renowned as first to showcase the forthcoming year’s most hotly tipped artists. In 2007, the festival expanded across a weekend and has, by day, become a sprawling carnival-style arts festival featuring comedy & spoken word, short film, pop quizzes, busking, acoustic performances, workshops, karaoke, exhibitions and more. 2011 will mark the Gaymers Camden Crawl’s 10th birthday and will undoubtedly be the biggest and best yet.
