10:15am to 4:30pm Saturday 24th September at Embrace office, Brixton
How to make great photographs
The course is aimed at people who know how to use their cameras, but are unsure of how to compose a shot or just don't think about it.
Photography Tutor Ingrid Abraham said " This course was developed because learning how to correctly compose a photo was the one thing that most dramatically improved my own photography".
The outline structure is:
A brief introduction to
Identifying your subject
Positioning yourself
Landscape or portrait?
Rule of thirds
At this point, we'd go out and take pictures
Back to the office to review some of the pictures
Lunch
A brief introduction to
The colour wheel
Lines, shapes and patterns
Negative space
Final review, feedback and group discussion
The course will be run in the setting of Embrace Social Enterprises Ltd office in Brixton (Lambeth, London) and it is limited to 8 participants only, to provide plenty of quality tutor one to one time with participants. So please reserve your place as soon as possible as these workshops are always very popular and do not run often.
Embrace is a non-profit organisation that provides a range of high quality workshops and all the profits are used to develop and run Embrace Cooperation Ltd charitable community projects.
